We all love videos because they’re interesting and allow us to consume a lot of information quite quickly.
>>> However, we do NOT like being sold to… (unless you’re a geeky digital marketer like me who watches adverts just to pick up the latest marketing techniques).
Here are 3 steps to leverage the power of VIDEO so that it works for you and not against you.
1) Create your Video.
Do NOT focus on selling your product. Instead, give out valuable content that your target audience will love.
>>> Teach them something new. Share a personal story. Make them laugh. Create anything to keep them engaged with your video until the end.
2) Create a Page Post Engagement Advert.
Run a post engagement campaign of your video from Facebook ads manager, targeting your ideal customer.
>>> FB Ads Manager > Create an Ad > Engagement > Post Engagement.
3) Retarget the Viewers.
Now it’s time to sell, sell, sell.
>>> Run a traffic or conversion campaign targeting those who viewed 25% of your video.
If you’re feeling super confident, run a couple more campaigns targeting those who viewed 50% 75% and 90% of your videos and TEST the ads to see which one performs the best.

By analysing how much engagement you get on specific videos, you could create more of what your target audience loves.
You see, once a prospect has been exposed to some of your valuable content, they are much more likely to buy from you in the future. The first video has successfully transitioned your cold traffic into warm traffic, faster than it takes to microwave yesterday’s biryani.
